Upholstery Specialist

Abu Dhabi Aviation is seeking a skilled Upholstery Specialist to maintain the interiors of our fleet. This is a role where precision meets aviation excellence, ensuring that every stitch and seal meets the highest international airworthiness standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Upholstery Specialist, your primary focus will be the overhaul and refurbishment of aircraft components.Performs cleaning, degreasing, professional stitching, and adhesive application on sub-components in strict accordance with manufacturer instructions.Ensures all work meets Company, Manufacturer, and Airworthiness Authority regulations.Maintains meticulous historical records of all tasks and ensure all parts are correctly identified, labelled, and tracked.Oversees the serviceability of tools and shadow boards, ensuring a clean and professional environment.Reports safety issues via SMS Pro and adheres to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).QualificationsHigh School/Secondary Education.Minimum five (5) years of experience in upholstery or furnishing.Preferably with Aviation-specific upholstery qualifications or formal technical aviation training from an approved manufacturer.Proven ability to operate specialized upholstery machinery and tools.Strong verbal and written English communication skills.Ability to maintain the level of fitness required for manual workshop tasks.Ability to thrive in a multicultural team environment.A background in Aviation/Survival equipment service center is highly regarded.Interior composite repair experience is an added advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
