Job Description

Oceaneering is looking for a skilledStructural Integrity Engineerto join our team in Qatar on a12‑month fixed‑term contract. In this role, you will support the implementation and maintenance of our structural integrity management service to ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of our client’s onshore and offshore production facilities. Responsibilities and expectations are aligned with Oceaneering's and the client's regulatory and documentary requirements.Close out completed inspections withinCredoandSAP , ensuring accurate and timely updates.Update structural inspection plans in Credo based onNEXUS RBIoutputs.Conduct first‑pass reviews of inspection reports, identifying discrepancies in coating, corrosion, and degradation, and provide feedback to offshore teams.Classify and prioritise anomalies requiring corrective action in accordance with anomaly management procedures.Raise corrective maintenance notifications within the client’sCMMS (SAP)with appropriate coding and priorities.Close notifications/work orders for completed inspections and repairs.Maintain and update anomaly registers and contribute to RBI reporting.Ensure compliance with SIM processes, relevant legislation, and client engineering guidance.Promote and support a strong safety culture across all activities.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree inStructural, Civil, Mechanicalor related engineering field.Coating inspector certification (e.g.,NACE CIP Level 1+ ) – advantageous.CSWIP 3.1or equivalent certification – advantageous.NDT certifications inMT, DPT, UT, ECT– advantageous.Experience RequirementsMinimum5 yearsoffshore structural inspection or integrity management experience.Strong understanding of offshore structural damage mechanisms, corrosion patterns, and fabric maintenance priorities.Experience withSAP ,NEXUS , andCredofor inspection planning, reporting, and anomaly management (preferred).Strong technical writing and communication skills.Ability to perform effectively during high‑volume inspection periods.Key DeliverablesUpdated inspection and monitoring plans in Credo/SAP.Accurate and up‑to‑date anomaly register supporting RBI outputs.SAP notifications raised and tracked per procedure, including fabric maintenance and repair actions.High‑quality structural integrity documentation delivered consistently.Position isonshore office‑based(indoors, daytime).Classified aslight work , including occasional lifting up to 10kg, frequent standing, and repetitive hand/arm movements.Ability to differentiate colours (required for coating assessment).This is a12‑month fixed‑term contract , with potential for extension depending on project needs and performance.How to ApplyPlease submit your application directly viaLinked In (Easy Apply).All submissions will be reviewed confidentially by the recruitment team.
