Senior Landscape Architect

With its new services, SYSTRA supports its clients and partners in their digital, ecological and energy transition, in order to invent the mobility of tomorrow.ContextThe Senior Landscape Architect will lead the design and delivery of key landscape and public realm projects across Dubai and the GCC. This role requires strong design leadership, technical knowledge, and a proven ability to manage projects from concept to construction. The successful candidate will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients and authorities, and ensure high-quality project outcomes.Missions/Main DutiesLead concept development, master planning, urban realm strategies, and detailed landscape design.Manage landscape packages including concept, schematic, detailed design, and IFC documentation.Prepare and review design reports, BOQs, material specifications, and technical details.Lead multidisciplinary design coordination meetings.Oversee construction-stage services including site inspections, shop drawing reviews, technical responses, and landscape QA/QC.Guide planting design, hardscape selection, grading strategies, and sustainability integration.Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.Ensure all designs meet Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, DDA, Trakhees, and other authority guidelines.Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.Contribute to proposals, design competitions, and business development efforts.Profile/SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape ArchitectureBackground:10-15 years of experience with strong GCC/UAE project background.Proven experience delivering medium‑to‑large scale landscape projects (public realm, waterfronts, parks, mixed‑use, hospitality, infrastructure).Strong design leadership with excellent communication and client‑facing skills.Expertise in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Enscape/Lumion; Revit and BIM are strong advantages.Solid understanding of local plants, microclimate strategies, irrigation systems, sustainability principles, and municipal requirements.Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team.Chartership (CMLI, ASLA, or equivalent) is a plus.Systra is an equal opportunities company; this position is open to all applicants.#J-18808-Ljbffr
