Material Inspector

We are looking for experienced Material Inspectors with a strong background in drainage, sewerage, irrigation lines, and water infrastructure in Dubai. Applicants should hold DCL Approval and have worked on Water Infrastructure Projects.The role involves working on projects associated with storm water & drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks and water distribution networks. Responsibilities include undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration, and construction monitoring.Key ResponsibilitiesReviewed contractor material submittals related to civil and piping works.Conducted data collection and analysis for conceptual planning and design phases.Performed asset condition assessments to ensure materials complied with technical specifications, contract requirements, and local authority regulations.Prepared material specification reports.Assisted in project administration, including information gathering, drafting proposals and correspondence, tracking project costs, and preparing progress reports.Reviewed work carried out by designers and administrative staff.Identified non-conforming materials, generated reports and corrective actions, and coordinated responses with relevant teams.Team CollaborationConducted technical and feasibility studies and site investigations.Coordinated with international teams to support task and project completion.Maintained strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Experienced in quality inspections, with practical knowledge of ISO 9000 quality systems.Client Service ManagementEngaged in both internal and external client liaison.Built and maintained positive, long-term client relationships.Experienced in utility diversions and management processes.Health, Safety & Quality ComplianceFollowed safe work practices in line with company policies and safety standards.Ensured all work aligned with Core Values, Quality Systems, and Project Quality Procedures.Applied Design for Safety (Construction Design Management) principles in planning and execution.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerformed other duties as assigned by the Assistant Resident Engineer.RequirementsA minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects.Strong background in drainage, sewerage, irrigation lines, and water infrastructure in Dubai.The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience with Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL) approval.The candidate must be based in Dubai and have experience in Dubai.ISO 9001 2018 Quality System Knowledge.Work Location: DUBAI, UAE.#J-18808-Ljbffr
