Madre Integrated Engineering Full time Quantity Surveyor-Civil Doha Qatar, Qatar Posted on 03/08/2026We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor - Civil to support a waste water management company. The role involves managing project costs, preparing estimates, evaluating contractor claims, and ensuring financial efficiency throughout wastewater treatment, pipeline, and infrastructure projects.Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for wastewater treatment plants, sewer networks, and civil infrastructure works.Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project costing.Monitor project budgets and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.Evaluate contractor variations, claims, and change orders and provide commercial recommendations.Prepare and verify progress payment certificates and contractor invoices.Conduct site measurements and valuation of completed works.Assist in procurement processes, including subcontractor evaluation and contract administration.Track project expenditures and prepare cost reports for management.Ensure compliance with contractual terms, project specifications, and commercial procedures.Coordinate with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.Minimum 5-8 years of experience in quantity surveying or commercial management for civil projects.Experience in wastewater treatment plants, sewerage networks, pumping stations, or infrastructure projects is preferred.Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration.Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and commercial procedures.Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents.Proficiency in cost control tools, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software.Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.Good communication and coordination abilities.
