BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL | Full timeWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Engineer (SCADA& Systems Integration) to support the implementation, testing, andintegration of various smart city subsystems into the centralized SCADA andcommand control platforms.The candidate will primarily work on-site, ensuring that the designs,control philosophies, and network architectures are accurately implemented andall connected systems function as per the integration requirements. The roleinvolves close coordination with contractors, system vendors, and the SCADAintegration team to ensure smooth site-level deployment and reporting ofprogress.Key Responsibilities:Support the implementation andcommissioning of SCADA and field systems at multiple smart city project sites.Ensure design drawings, schematics, andintegration layouts are correctly followed by installation teams.Verify that all system connections(PLC, BMS, FAS, CCTV, ACS, Lighting, etc.) are properly linked to the Master SCADA platform.Coordinate with the Senior SCADAEngineer and vendors to resolve on-site issues related to connectivity, controllogic, and data communication.Participate in Site Acceptance Tests(SAT) and Integration Testing for newly commissioned systems.Maintain accurate documentation andlogs of installed systems, configurations, and integration progress.Conduct on-site inspections and verifycompliance with approved designs and integration standards.Assist in testing communicationprotocols (Modbus, OPC UA, BACnet, MQTT, SNMP, etc.) between field controllersand SCADA servers.Generate daily/weekly progress reports,site activity updates, and issue tracking reports for management review.Support system handover activitiesincluding preparation of as-built documentation, punch lists, and test reports.Collaborate with third-party vendors,system integrators, and OEMs during integration and troubleshooting phases.Ensure adherence to safety, quality,and cybersecurity standards during site work.RequirementsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Systems Engineering.2–6 years of experience in siteexecution or system commissioning for SCADA, ELV, or Smart Infrastructureprojects.Working knowledge of SCADA systems(AVEVA, Rockwell, Siemens Win CC OA, or equivalent).Familiar with integration of subsystemssuch as BMS, Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Lighting, Pumping, and Utility Monitoring Systems.Basic understanding of communicationprotocols such as Modbus, BACnet, OPC, MQTT, SNMP, and ONVIF.Hands-on experience in testing,commissioning, and troubleshooting of control panels and field devices.Strong documentation and reportingskills (MS Excel, Word, Power Point).Ability to interpret drawings, wiringdiagrams, and network layouts.Excellent coordination andcommunication skills to interface with multiple stakeholdersPreferred Skills:Experience with system integrationtesting and data mapping validation.Familiarity with control room / SCADAenvironment and field instrumentation.Knowledge of networking basics (IPaddressing, switches, VLANs).Exposure to Smart City or criticalinfrastructure projects.Awareness of health, safety, and sitequality procedures.Key Attributes:Proactive and results-oriented.Strong attention to detail andcommitment to quality work.Good analytical and problem-solvingability.Ability to work independently undersupervision and handle multiple sites.Effective team collaboration andreporting discipline.Possess Valid Qatar ID and Driving License.Application:Interested candidates may send their CV and a short cover letterdescribing relevant project experience.
