DescriptionWe’re expanding our team within Amazon Fulfillment! You will oversee the shift management in one of our first mile fulfillment centers. Our Operations Supervisors drive the pulse of our operations on the ground and play a key role in getting our customers’ orders out to them in every step of the chain.This is a varied, challenging role and every day is different!Key job responsibilitiesCreate and cultivate a safe working environment by identifying safety opportunities across your work areaContinuously provide critical shift related information to frontline management and operatorsEngage with support functions and/or other departments to address common issues or needs in key areas of performance e.g. process area readiness, 5S, safety, trainingHelp to solve logistics and supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation and process optimizationBasic Qualifications1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experienceHigh school or equivalentWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysCan lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachWork 40 hours/week, and overtime as requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administrationExperience as a business analyst, data analyst, or in a statistical analysis roleOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
