Water Tanker Driver – Light vehicle

We are seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Water Tanker Driver for light vehicles to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our water distribution operations ensuring timely and efficient delivery of water to various locations throughout the city.Operate light water tanker vehicles to transport and deliver water to designated locationsConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulationsFollow established routes and schedules for water deliveryMaintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage and vehicle maintenanceOperate water pumping equipment to fill and empty the tanker as requiredAdhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols while drivingCommunicate effectively with dispatchers, customers and team membersReport any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptlyAssist in basic vehicle maintenance tasks as neededEnsure the cleanliness and sanitation of the water tanker vehicleQualificationsValid light vehicle driving license with a clean driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience as a water tanker driver or in a similar role preferredThorough knowledge of local traffic laws and regulationsProficiency in operating water tanker equipment and performing basic vehicle maintenanceStrong time management and organizational skillsExcellent communication abilities in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusPhysical capability to handle the demands of the job including lifting and climbingFamiliarity with water distribution systems and occupational health and safety practices preferredAbility to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends as requiredStrong commitment to safety and customer serviceRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
