Job Description

OverviewProduce and maintain method drawings used for offshore execution: lifting/rigging sketches, sea-fastening, installation sequences, temporary works, layouts, and method statements visuals to support safe construction and offshore operations.Reporting lineTypically reports to Project/Construction/Methods Manager within a methods or subsea engineering group.Key responsibilitiesDevelop 2D/3D drawings that support offshore construction methods (installation sequences, deck layouts, equipment arrangements, lifting plans, temporary supports).Convert method engineering inputs into clear IFC/IFR drawings, sketches, and markups for offshore teams.Ensure drawings align with HSE, lifting/rigging best practices, and project constraints (vessel, crane capacity, access/egress).Manage drawing registers, revisions, and as-built updates; coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA/QC.Support offshore queries with quick turnarounds and accurate revisions.QualificationsDiploma in Drafting / Mechanical / Civil (or equivalent)Strong experience in offshore EPC / construction draftingProficiency: AutoCAD (must), often MicroStation / Navisworks / SolidWorks depending on projectUnderstanding of lifting/rigging terminology, temporary works, and constructability#J-18808-Ljbffr
