Senior Piping Engineer / Senior Piping Designer (Piping Isometric Checker)Contract Type: 6-month contract with potential extension based on project requirementsExpected Start Date: 1st April 2026Expected End Date: 1st October 2026Key ResponsibilitiesVerify dimensional accuracy on isometric drawings to ensure compliance with design requirementsCheck that material specifications on drawings match project specifications and standardsConfirm the Bill of Materials (BOM) is complete and accurately reflects required materialsVerify correct flow direction and orientation of pipingReview support details for accuracy in specification and locationIdentify and report potential clashes or interferences with other systems or structuresEnsure all drawings comply with relevant codes and standards (such as ASME, ANSI, API)Review annotations and notes for clarity and completenessConduct revision control to ensure latest drawings and properly documented changesPerform overall quality check to ensure clarity, legibility, and professional presentation of drawingsCompare drawings against PID, vendor data, stress CNs, and project standardsRequirementsProven experience in piping engineering or piping design with strong understanding of isometric drawing checksFamiliarity with material specifications and construction BOMsWorking knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API)Experience in drawing review, clash detection, and quality checks in a similar roleStrong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlinesThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leading project in Doha, Qatar.
