<div><h3>Maintenance Technician - SORP Group</h3><p>Full-time | Office-based in Dubai, Barsha Heights</p><h3>About the Company</h3><p>SORP Group is a leading outsourcing company in the Dubai market with 17 years of experience.</p><h3>About the Role</h3><p>We are currently recruiting for a practical, hands‑on maintenance technician, who can independently handle everyday facility repair, and maintenance tasks.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Perform routine maintenance of office and on occasion, residential properties.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment.</li><li>Carry out minor repair and maintenance works independently.</li><li>Perform painting, finishing, and basic construction work.</li><li>Assemble and install furniture and office equipment.</li><li>Repair and replace locks, door hardware, and interior elements.</li><li>Provide hands‑on day‑to‑day maintenance support across company facilities.</li><li>Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.</li><li>Be able to handle most common maintenance tasks without external contractors.</li><li>Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers when specialised or high‑risk works are required.</li><li>Prepare company apartments for employee move‑in (minor repairs, furniture setup, basic checks).</li><li>Support office relocations and setup of new premises.</li><li>Maintain maintenance logs and monitor tools and materials availability.</li><li>Ensure facilities are safe, functional, and well maintained at all times.</li><li>Perform other relevant duties related to the maintenance of the facilities.</li><li>Support maintenance of building systems; including HVAC (ventilation and air conditioning), basic electrical works (lighting, switches, sockets, simple troubleshooting) and plumbing&water supply systems.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Fluent in English</li><li>3 to 6 years' work experience in a similar role</li></ul><h3>Vacancy Details</h3><p>Office-based position | Barsha Heights, Dubai.</p><p>Office Hours - 09h00 till 18h00 | Monday to Friday.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
