Commercial Operations Manager – Cleaning & Waste ManagementLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaRole Type: Full‑TimeRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Operations Manager to lead and manage the commercial, contractual, and operational aspects of our cleaning and waste management business, supporting large‑scale sporting and cultural events in GCC. This role combines client‑facing commercial responsibility with close collaboration across operations and procurement, ensuring contracts are commercially sound, operationally deliverable, and executed to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial & Contract ManagementLead commercial negotiations with clients for cleaning and waste management contractsPrepare, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, SLAs, pricing models, variations, and renewalsEnsure commercial agreements align with operational capabilities, cost structures, and margin targetsMonitor contract performance and manage commercial risksClient Management & Business GrowthAct as the primary commercial point of contact for key clientsBuild strong client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and repeat businessIdentify growth opportunities including new contracts, extensions, and additional servicesSupport RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and proposals in coordination with operationsProcurement & Vendor ManagementWork closely with procurement to source, appoint, and manage vendors, subcontractors, and suppliersEvaluate vendor proposals for pricing, service quality, capacity, and complianceLead or support commercial negotiations with vendors to optimise costs while maintaining service standardsEnsure vendor agreements align with client contracts, SLAs, and event delivery requirementsMonitor vendor performance and support corrective actions where requiredEvent Operations & Financial OversightCollaborate with operations teams to ensure effective mobilization and delivery of cleaning and waste services during sporting and cultural eventsSupport budgeting, cost control, margin improvement, and revenue forecastingReview operational and financial performance reports and recommend improvementsEnsure compliance with local municipality, environmental, and health & safety regulationsStakeholder & Internal CoordinationAct as a coordination point between clients, operations, procurement, finance, and vendorsSupport management with commercial reporting, performance analysis, and planningContribute to improving internal processes related to contracts, procurement, pricing, and vendor managementQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field5–10 years’ experience in cleaning services, waste management, facilities management, or event‑related sectorsProven experience in commercial management, contract negotiation, and client handlingStrong understanding of procurement processes and vendor managementExperience in KSA or UAE markets with knowledge of local regulations preferredKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong commercial and negotiation skillsSolid procurement and vendor management capabilityClient‑focused with strong stakeholder management skillsAbility to balance commercial objectives with operational realitiesAnalytical mindset with a focus on cost control and profitabilityAbility to work cross‑functionally in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments#J-18808-Ljbffr
