Librarian

OverviewLibrarian in Zayed City, UAE. Salary: 1000 AED per month. Benefits and working conditions are provided as part of the package.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the smooth running of the library and provide exceptional customer service to patrons.Process books, digital media, periodicals, and other materials; help patrons find resources; answer questions about library services; assist with research projects.Shelve materials; catalog new items into the system.Organize special events such as book clubs or story time.Maintain current awareness of new materials and services offered by the library.Provide technology assistance when necessary.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Library Sciences or equivalent experience.Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills and good problem-solving abilities.Experience working with immigrants is preferred but not essential.BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of 1000 AED plus various benefits including medical insurance, paid vacation days, and professional development opportunities.Working Conditions40 hours per week, in shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.
