Trust is the basis of our co-operation within G+D.## **Scope and Purpose:*** We are seeking a Legal & Compliance Counsel to provide comprehensive legal, compliance, and data privacy support across multiple entities and jurisdictions. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of legal advisory, governance, and commercial decision-making.## **Key Responsibilities:*** Legal Counsel + Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements (customer, supplier, service provider, + subcontracting and public tender). + Provide legal advice on corporate governance, HR, procurement, and operational matters. + Conduct legal research and risk analysis to support business decisions.* Compliance Counsel + Implement and monitor compliance and regulatory frameworks across subsidiaries in line with global standards. + Conduct risk assessments, manage compliance training, issue reports and oversee incident investigations. + Support the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures, and best practices. + Ensure robust business partner due diligence and procurement compliance.* Data Privacy Oversight + Act as Data Privacy Officer, ensuring compliance with local and international data protection laws. + Advise on data processing activities, manage data subject requests, and handle breach incidents. + Coordinate with regulators and maintain alignment with Group Privacy guidelines.## **Job Requirements:*** Law degree with 6+ years’ experience in a multinational corporation.* Strong background in contract law, compliance frameworks, and data privacy regulations.* Comfortable managing external counsel, litigation, and arbitration.* Commercially pragmatic, detail-oriented, and structured with strong stakeholder management skills.* Fluent in English; French/Arabic is an advantage.### What we offer### A look behind the scenes(!()(https://fast.wistia.com/assets/images/blank.gif))(blob:https://www.gi-de.com/32270cd4-97d6-4968-898b-e687828031d1)2:45### Contact**HR Team Dubai**careers-dxb@gi-de.com### Download- **Job Title** Legal Counsel **Business Sector** Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology FZE B1 Dubai Digital Park Dubai Silicon Oasis **Requisition ID** 26655- **Location** * Dubai, AE **Career level** Experienced and Graduates **Job Type** Fulltime#J-18808-Ljbffr
