HSE Officer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer (Road & Infrastructure) to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring workplace safety, compliance with regulations, and the implementation of HSE standards across road and infrastructure projects.This is a contract-based position with strong potential for extension, offering an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies on-siteConduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessmentsEnsure compliance with Qatar safety regulations and project requirementsIdentify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actionsConduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessionsInvestigate incidents and prepare detailed reportsCoordinate with project teams to maintain a safe working environmentEnsure proper use of PPE and safety equipment at all timesWorking Duration6 months (extendable based on project requirements)RequirementsMinimum 4 years of experience in Qatar, specifically in road and infrastructure projectsValid experience certificates are mandatoryNEBOSH IGC and IOSH certifications are requiredDegree or Diploma in a relevant fieldValid QID copyMust be available for immediate joiningSkillsStrong knowledge of HSE regulations and standardsRisk assessment and hazard identification expertiseExcellent communication and reporting skillsAbility to enforce safety compliance on-siteTeam collaboration and leadership abilitiesAttention to detail and problem-solving skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
