Heavy Truck Driver

Job Overview: As a Heavy Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials to various locations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of goods and maintaining the company's reputation for excellent service. Key Responsibilities: - Operate heavy vehicles, such as trucks and trailers, in a safe and responsible manner - Transport goods and materials to designated locations as per the assigned schedule - Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure safety and report any defects or issues - Ensure all required documents, such as delivery notes and log sheets, are completed accurately and in a timely manner - Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations while driving and follow company policies and procedures - Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both inside and outside - Communicate effectively with the team and report any delays, accidents, or incidents immediately - Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed - Perform basic maintenance on vehicles, such as checking oil and tire pressure, and report any major issues to the supervisor - Follow all safety measures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries - Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times Qualifications: - Valid UAE driving license for heavy vehicles (3-5 years of experience preferred) - High school diploma or equivalent - Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations - Ability to read and understand maps and GPS systems - Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required - Good understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting - Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow We Offer: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for career advancement and training - Supportive and inclusive work environment - Modern and well-maintained fleet of vehicles - Regular performance evaluations and feedback If you are a responsible and experienced Heavy Driver looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
