As a Head Mixologist you’ll have the opportunity to bring these to life and continue to create our legacy.By taking part in a daily team briefing pre-service you ensure you are well informed of the daily happenings around the hotel and the residence as well as the upcoming service.Liaise with all departments to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance are maintained in all areas of the bar such as equipment furniture floors fixtures and fittings to ensure an immaculate guest impression.Responsible for training and development of the bar team to ensure beverage presentation and preparation is maintainedMinimize cost by reducing breakage loss misuse of equipment and correct managing of the opened bottles of wines and spirits to avoid spoilage.Responsible for stock control requisition accurate stock taking and planning consumption accurately to ensure wastage of ingredients is kept to a minimumAssist in maintaining administrative records such as attendance records hygiene inspection records etc.Develop recipes and ensure consistency in delivery with regards to the cocktail program of the entire operation in conjunction with the management.Ensure quality levels of all products and services are maintained as well as costs sanitation cleanliness and hygiene are controlled on an ongoing basis.Ensure that all Food and Beverage Hygiene and Sanitation Standards are attained in accordance with the local municipality regulationsAlong with your main duties you may be asked to complete other tasks as and when necessary and reasonably required.You may on occasion be required to adjust your hours of work to cover the beach club needs.You acknowledge that working in beach club operations involves exposure to heat and sun operating under pressure and requires standing and walking for long periods of time.The job advertisement is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities involved specific tasks may vary and are subje
