About the Hiring Unit: FinOps Shared ServicesAmazon.com has extensive vendor payment operations activities for our vendors across the Globe. The WW Finance operation at Hyderabad commenced in 2005 and has grown steadily in its size and scope into a dynamic and large team. The 3000+ member team at Hyderabad, Pune, Manila, Costa Rica, Bratislava and China handle WW Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll transactions and play a key role in smooth functioning of overall Amazon businesses. This position will mainly support both AP related processes for all major businesses of Amazon, which comprises of 100+ unique services.Key job responsibilitiesWork with Business teams and use data exploration to identify and prioritize high impact improvement opportunitiesLeading Black Belt (BB) projects and mentoring GBs/YBs/Kaizens to address key cross functional issues ranging from financial operations, fulfillment operations, and vendor management for global Amazon businessesDeliver Financial Savings through projectsDesign and implement mechanisms to improve Operational Excellence CultureConducting Green Belt and Lean training programs within FinanceFacilitate the Leadership Steering Committee to tollgate GB/BB projects and Kaizens to ensure consistency in methods and quality project deliverablesManage the documentation and status of all GB/BB/Lean projectsDriving consistency of process, training, and reporting across functional teamsProvide periodic project updates, including major successes/challenges, to senior managementManaging and constantly improving the idea management (ideation to implementation) processConduct VSMs and FMEAs to identify improvement opportunities as and when neededStrong Analytical skills , able to make sense out of messy dataBasic Qualifications7+ years of program or project management experience7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience7+ years of delivering cross functional projects experienceExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsPreferred Qualifications7+ years of driving process improvements experienceMaster's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related fieldOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
