Fabrication Project Engineer / Construction Engineering Specialist

Purpose of the PositionAs Fabrication Project Engineer / Construction Engineering Specialist, you will report to the Fabrication Manager and be an integral part of the COMP5 project within the Fabrication Department.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary focal point of communication amongst Subcontractors, Fabrication Yards, and Clients regarding daily activities of Fabrication SCTR related to fabrication progress.Prepare execution strategy and plans prior to project commencement.Conduct overall planning, management, and execution of projects with due consideration to Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), Quality, and Cost.Review the correct application of Construction strategies and proper assessment of Subcontractors' performance against prescribed plans using key metrics.Identify and implement remedial action plans via site verification to ensure proper execution.Monitor and track the material purchasing process from Purchase Requisition (PR) release through to Purchase Order (PO) processing and delivery.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (any discipline)Experience:Minimum 13 years of experience in EPC FabricationLanguages:Proficient in English (written and spoken)Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of EPC projectsConstruction management expertiseOffshore facility experienceFabrication managementIT Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulasWhat We OfferContract Type: Permanent – Project-based positionBenefits: Comprehensive corporate benefits packageWorking Hours: 45 hours per week (9 hours x 5 days)Professional Development: Our soft skills model focuses on skills development, career growth, and opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goalsLocation: Doha, QatarDiversity & InclusionWe embrace diversity!
