Were a team of dedicated people driving this mission by providing better faster and cheaper ways to access food through technology.Role overviewTo function as a Barista for the Calo Cafe to work alongside the Cafe Manager and to successfully support the operation in accordance with the standard of the company in all daily operations.The successful candidate will employ their coffee knowledge and Interpersonal skills to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers satisfaction.Main ResponsibilitiesAdhere to coffee recipes when preparing themMaintain brewing equipment functionality and reporting possible issuesBeing attentive to customers orders and preferencesMaintain a positive and professional approach with customers while presenting Calos culture and valuesEnsure that the cafe operates in a timely manner that meets our quality standardsResourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situationComply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkersIdeal CandidateQualificationsMust have had a minimum of 1 year of previous experience in cafes as a BaristaMust have a certified Barista certificateMust be currently present in UAEMust be a proficient communicator in EnglishKnowledge and competencyAdequate coffee knowledge and different coffee mixturesAbility to differentiate coffee aromas and their tasteExtensive hands-on experience with professional coffee machinesOutstanding communication and leadership skillsA good understanding of useful computer programs and the ability to learn new onesAbility to communicate effectively particularly in written formPersonalityStrong communicatorPleasant personality and able to lead with empathy Required Experience:Senior IC Employment Type : Full-Time Department / Functional Area: Retail Experience: years Vacancy: 1
