Job Description
OverviewThe Wholesale Manager will be responsible for driving wholesale sales operations across the Central Region, managing distributor relationships, expanding market reach, and ensuring strong execution within the FMCG food category. The role requires excellent commercial acumen, team leadership, and strong understanding of wholesale channels in KSA.Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue GrowthDevelop and implement wholesale sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.Identify new business opportunities, wholesale accounts, and regional partners.Manage pricing, promotions, and trade deals to maximize profitability.2. Distributor & Account ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail partners.Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to track performance and solve challenges.Ensure timely order processing, delivery, and product availability across channels.3. Market Execution & ExpansionDrive SKU distribution, visibility, and placement within the Central Region.Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and price dynamics.Lead expansion initiatives to improve numeric and weighted distribution.4. Operations & Inventory ControlCoordinate with supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels and on‑time replenishment.Monitor sell‑in and sell‑out data to avoid overstock or stockouts.Ensure compliance with company standards for freshness, quality, and shelf‑life.5. Team LeadershipSupervise, coach, and support field sales teams (merchandisers, supervisors).Set KPIs, conduct performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement.Ensure adherence to company policies, route planning, and coverage efficiency.6. Reporting & AnalysisPrepare weekly/monthly sales performance reports.Analyze market insights, customer trends, and sales data to support management decisions.Track return on investment (ROI) for trade activities and promotions.Must HaveBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.7–14 years of experience in FMCG wholesale (food category preferred).Strong understanding of KSA wholesale landscape and distributor networks.Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing key accounts.Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.Valid KSA driving license preferred.Commercial AcumenNegotiation & Relationship ManagementStrategic PlanningTeam LeadershipMarket IntelligenceProblem‑Solving & Decision‑Making#J-18808-Ljbffr
