Madre Integrated Engineering Full timeWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Welding Inspector with CSWIP 3.2.2 certification to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding inspection, quality control, and non-destructive testing (NDT) within oil and gas processing facilities. The role requires expertise in construction and in-plant inspections, compliance with QatarEnergy safety regulations, and the ability to operate within Permit to Work (PTW) systems. Key Responsibilities: Welding Inspection & Quality Assurance: Conduct welding inspections on oil and gas process facilities to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.Verify weld procedures, welder qualifications, and material compliance with engineering codes and client requirements.Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welds, ensuring compliance with ASME, API, and other relevant standards.Monitor welding processes and parameters, ensuring adherence to approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).Identify and report welding defects, ensuring corrective actions are taken in line with industry standards. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) & Technical Expertise: Conduct NDT inspections (UT, PT, MT, RT) as per project requirements and international standards.Interpret radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing results.Ensure NDT activities comply with ISO, ASME, AWS, and API standards.Maintain valid Level II NDT certification and oversee subcontractor NDT activities. Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy HSE standards and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.Pass QatarEnergy Consolidated Permit to Work (ePTW) system as required by Mesaieed Operations.Conduct HSE inspections related to welding and fabrication activities, ensuring a safe working environment.Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality and safety deviations. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare inspection reports, NDT reports, and welding history records.Maintain accurate welding logs, traceability records, and quality documentation.Review and approve contractor welding procedures, method statements, and quality plans.Provide technical support to project teams, contractors, and client representatives. Requirements CSWIP 3.2.2 Certification (held for at least 3 years). Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.Valid Level II NDT Certifications in UT, MT, PT, or RT.Familiarity with ASME, AWS, API, and ISO quality standards.Ability to pass QatarEnergy PTW and ePTW certification.
