We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.Key ResponsibilitiesSupports the business by communicating team resource loading and skill requirements to the direct supervisor.Ensures the project work is covered for vacation and unplanned absences. Mentors/trains and supports the delivery of training.Encourages knowledge of and compliance with requirements and processes.Works to resolve inter-discipline, vendor, and customer issues.Ensures discipline technical work and team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations to support official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc.Creates final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues internal authorization.May review similar documentation to assist others and reviews/authorizes work done by direct reports.Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as:Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes;If required, participate in studies and analyses and recommend actions;Prepare and oversee the production of engineering drawings and documentation;Ensure all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with Worley checking procedures;Participate in project reviews as required.Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, TrainingTrade Apprenticeship, Certificate, Diploma, Advance Diploma of Engineering Technology in Mechanical/Piping discipline.Industry Specific KnowledgeOffshore experience (brownfield essential).Proven experience of detailed piping design gained with design contractors and/or oil/gas companies within the industry.Extensive design experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry, and, where relevant, experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.IT Skills2D Software: AutoCAD, Micro-Station3D Software: PDS, S3D / PDMS, E3D3D Review Software: Navisworks, SPRMicrosoft Office – Word, Excel, Power pointHSE CapabilityMaintain HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements.Demonstrate behaviour and business practices commensurate with a culture of world’s best health, safety and environmental performance.Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to:Personal well-being;Healthy and safe workplaces and activities; andContinuously improve Worley health, safety and environmental performance.Identify and report work hazards and incidents.Moving forward togetherWe’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
