Scope and ObjectivesThis position is concerned with being responsible for serving food & beverage to the guest according to the service standards, policy, procedure & etiquette, in line with our motto.Key Deliverables and ResponsibilitiesEnsure correct grooming standards are followed at all timesExceed guest satisfaction by knowing preferences and update profilesMaintain detailed knowledge of the restaurant menu & daily specials at all timesBe familiar with the beverage service including glasses used and appropriate garnishesFollow up restaurant financial, LQA, TrustYou and Forbes targets on a daily basisAnticipate and serve guests' requirements at all timesFollow up daily financial targets of area/divisionUse opening and closing checklist to ensure smooth opening and closing of the venueEnsure service stations are constantly cleared and re-stocked during serviceServe and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional mannerPresent menus in a proactive mannerFeel empowered and accountable within the workplaceKeep manager on duty updated of any guest feedback so they can update the Glitch ReportMaintain the HACCP & FIFO standards as required by the regional governing bodyFollow Hotel Evacuation Policy in case of an EmergencyAttend all necessary briefings and training sessions as instructed by the ManagerHandle financial procedures according to guidelines set by the finance departmentIdentify potential problems and anticipate guest needs, ask for assistance before service breakdown occursPerform any duties and special projects as requested by management whether in your own department or any other department in the hotelAll issues and negative guest feedback needs to be properly reported on glitch systemFollow care program at all times, and report issues through the system to maintenanceQualificationsPrevious experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operationsPassion for excellent serviceExcellent team playerExcellent communication skillAdditional InformationStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesFluency in English, additional languages are a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
