The ideal candidate will lead our banquet operations ensuring exceptional service and memorable experiences for our guests.ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate all aspects of banquet events from setup to executionLead and motivate a team of banquet staff assigning tasks and providing guidanceCollaborate with clients event planners and internal departments to ensure successful eventsManage inventory equipment and supplies for banquet operationsEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and hotel standardsHandle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionallyConduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings with the teamMonitor and maintain high standards of service cleanliness and presentationAssist in training and developing banquet staffPrepare reports on banquet operations and guest feedbackQualificationsmore than 2 years of experience in banquet operations with previous experience as a Banquet Captain or similar roleProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a teamExcellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindsetStrong event management and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional time management and organizational skillsOutstanding communication skills both verbal and writtenKeen attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in event management software and point-of-sale systemsBachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)Food Safety CertificationIn-depth knowledge of food and beverage service standardsUnderstanding of current hospitality industry trendsExperience in event planning and executionFlexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as requiredAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsAdditional InformationFlying ElephantRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
