OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tunnels Manager (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our infrastructure management division, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of road tunnels, ensuring their safety, efficiency, and longevity.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for road tunnelsOversee daily operations and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulationsConduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential issues and implement preventive measuresManage and optimize tunnel systems, including ventilation, lighting, fire safety, and traffic managementLead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvementCollaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies and contractors, to ensure project successDevelop and manage budgets for tunnel operations and maintenance projectsImplement and maintain quality control systems to ensure the highest standards of tunnel operationsStay updated on industry trends and technologies, recommending and implementing innovations as appropriatePrepare and present regular reports on tunnel performance, maintenance activities, and safety metricsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electrical-Electronics and Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 10 years of experience in tunnel operations and maintenanceProven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projectsIn-depth knowledge of tunnel systems, infrastructure, and maintenance practicesStrong understanding of safety protocols and risk management in tunnel operationsOutstanding leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with international standards and best practices in tunnel managementUnderstanding of local regulations and environmental considerations in QatarRelevant certifications in tunnel operations and safety (preferred)Additional InformationTunnels Manager Roads OM • Doha, Doha Municipality, Qatar#J-18808-Ljbffr
