Smiths is listed on the London Stock Exchange and employs approximately 16,000 colleagues in over 50 countries.ResponsibilitiesAs a strategic TA partner, oversee the entire recruitment process and lead a team of recruiters or resourcers to attract and hire top talent. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to ensure the organization has the right people, in the right roles, at the right time to execute its business objectives. Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs and act as a trusted advisor in building a strong, capable, and agile workforce that drives organizational success.As a TA Analyst, support data and reporting related to end-to-end recruitment processes, leverage data-driven insights, and create and distribute TA related analytical reports to relevant stakeholders.Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates, utilizing various sourcing channels, and optimizing recruitment processes.Overseeing the recruitment process from job posting and sourcing to screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation, ensuring a positive candidate experience and proactive management of recruitment activity.Collaborating withHiring Managers to understand staffing needs and ensure alignment on candidate selection.Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations and system governance.Managing recruitment metrics, maintaining high-quality recruiting data in the Applicant Tracking System, and analyzing data to identify improvements and measure effectiveness.Building relationships with external sources such as recruitment agencies, schools, colleges, universities, and other talent sources to expand the candidate pipeline.Providing Hiring Manager support by coaching, challenging, and advising using recruitment and market data to inform local and key hiring decisions.Talent pooling: proactively building talent pools and pipelines for future recruitment needs and exploring new channels with innovative ideas.Project and event support for hiring events and candidate engagement activities, including planning and coordination.Ensuring compliance with applicable HSE instructions, requirements, laws and regulations from customers and regulatory bodies.Supporting global alignment to drive consistency in TA and managing the PSL.Reviewing global data to drive best-practice TA processes and experiences.Reviewing hiring processes to enable the delivery team to attract, select and retain hires effectively.Designing and facilitating in-house training for the Global Talent Acquisition team and coordinating with multi-functional teams on process-related projects.Working with TA communities regionally while driving a consistent global approach.Seeking efficiencies in process design and gathering participant feedback to evaluate experiences.Rolling out proposed SLAs, monitoring and reporting.Overseeing reporting and analytics outputs from the TA coordinator(s), identifying trends and improvements to be communicated to key stakeholders.Vendor management is required in this role (e.g., Job Boards such as LinkedIn and Indeed, and Agencies).QualificationsMust have proven experience in Middle East and Africa recruitment.5 to 12 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, evaluating, and closing candidates; strong relationships with hiring managers to support functions across our businesses in the Middle East and Africa region. Collaboration with local HR Advisors to achieve business outcomes.Proficient in English (mandatory) and Arabic (preferable).Thorough understanding of end-to-end recruitment process methodology, preferably within a global organization.Strong ability to build relationships, communicate, and influence multiple stakeholders.Knowledge of Talent Acquisition technology, including ATS/CRM systems.Ability to interpret data from varied sources and drive solutions in a complex environment.Clear, concise, and professional in deliver
