Student Life and Community Engagement Manager

The American University in the Emirates is searching for a Student Life and Community Engagement Manager who will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the delivery of services related to campus life, student activities, grievances, scholarships, and financial aid.Qualifications & ExperienceMaster's Degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field from an accredited universityMinimum 5 years of related experience in an educational institution or similar environmentPreferably bilingual (fluent in English and Arabic)Skills / Training / KnowledgeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong leadership skillsHigh confidentiality and ethical standardsKnowledge of university programs and operations, including administrative and academic affairs (preferred)Professionalism in interactions with students, faculty, and staffAdherence to institutional codes of conduct and acting as a role modelJob ResponsibilitiesManage office goals and operational planning to align with university objectivesManage the office budgetDevelop and lead a responsive student support teamOversee financial support services, including aid, scholarships, and grantsImplement student engagement initiatives such as orientation, social events, clubs, and tripsDevelop student recognition programsOversee the Athletics OfficeDevelop community engagement opportunitiesBuild relationships with student sponsors and respond to their needsManage the student grievance process in accordance with university policiesSupport student organizations and provide guidance as neededSecure funding to support university missions and initiativesEngage with current and prospective donorsPerform additional duties as assignedAbout AUEThe American University in the Emirates (AUE) is located in Dubai International Academic City and offers a vibrant environment for learning and growth.
