As part of the M42 network, Amana is dedicated to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care tailored to the needs of individuals requiring complex or extended recovery support.Reporting to the Rehabilitation Team Leader, the Speech and Language Pathologist - Paediatrics provides specialized assessment and intervention for infants, children, and adolescents with speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders. The role supports inpatient and/or outpatient caseloads and requires pediatric specialization along with dysphagia competency, in alignment with DOH and organizational standards.ResponsibilitiesConduct screening, comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and intervention for pediatric speech and language disorders.Manage pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders with formal dysphagia competency.Provide evidence‑based therapy for:Speech delayStammering and stutteringLanguage disordersArticulation and phonological disordersCommunication disorders associated with developmental conditionsFeeding and swallowing difficultiesAutismDeliver therapy sessions in inpatient, outpatient, community, and educational settings.Develop individualized therapy plans in collaboration with families and healthcare professionals.Provide parent education and structured home programs.Monitor progress and modify intervention strategies accordingly.Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with DOH standards.Participate in clinical meetings, training, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited university.Minimum 2 years’ post‑qualification pediatric experience (1 year for Master’s holders).Active membership and certification from an accredited professional body (e.g., RCSLT, ASHA, SPA).Eligible for DOH/DHA licensure.Formal pediatric dysphagia and swallowing certification and competency.Demonstrated independent clinical practice under supervision prior to independent caseload management.#J-18808-Ljbffr
