Job Description

We are seeking a skilled, motivated and quality-focused Sous Chef to join the culinary team of a reputable 4‑star hotel in Dubai. This role is ideal for a hands‑on culinary professional who thrives in a structured hotel kitchen environment and is passionate about delivering consistent high‑quality food for international guests.Key Responsibilities:Assist overseeing daily kitchen operationsSupervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow during serviceEnsure food preparation and presentation meet hotel quality standardsMaintain consistency in taste portioningEnforce food safety hygiene and HACCP standards at all timesMonitor kitchen cleanliness organization and equipment useAssist with staff training scheduling and performance monitoringCoordinate closely with the service team to ensure timely food deliverySupport menu planning cost control and waste reduction initiativesStep in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive ChefCandidate Profile:Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a hotel environmentStrong leadership and kitchen management skillsGood knowledge of international and hotel-style cuisineSolid understanding of food safety and hygiene standardsAbility to work efficiently under pressureStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityli>Fluent in EnglishFlexible to work shifts weekends and holidaysSalary & Benefits:Basic Salary: AED 5200 per month plus Service ChargeSingle-room accommodation providedTax‑free salaryDuty meals providedTransportation providedMedical / health insuranceAnnual leave and travel benefits as per UAE labor law#J-18808-Ljbffr
