Job Description
Traditional telecom software operates on an outdated model: cumbersome BSS/OSS systems, deployments spanning multiple years, extensive customization demands, and suppliers that normalize project delays. Carriers face mounting pressure to extract revenue from 5G investments, accelerate MVNO service rollouts, transform wholesale operations, and break free from legacy vendor constraints—yet the platforms they rely on were designed to resist rapid evolution.Totogi offers a fundamentally different approach. We provide operators with three products that deliver measurable impact: Telco Ontology, AI‑Native Charging, and a cloud‑native Wholesale BSS Platform. This is telco software delivered as true SaaS, operational in weeks rather than quarters. It is more efficient, agile, and architecturally superior to the established offerings from vendors such as Amdocs, Ericsson, Nokia, CSG, and Netcracker. That distinction makes this position particularly compelling: you are not advocating for vaporware wrapped in consulting hours and disclosures. You are demonstrating production‑ready software with genuine technical and business advantages. This position centers on securing technical buy‑in. You will deliver customized demonstrations, conduct technical discovery sessions, define solution boundaries, and author precise RFP responses spanning all three Totogi product lines. You must possess sufficient telco expertise to discuss charging systems, billing platforms, CRM architecture, product catalogs, integration patterns, 5G protocols, migration challenges, and rate plan design with authority, then translate that complexity into business outcomes within the same interaction. This is not a support function, a deployment role, or a scripted presales assignment. It suits someone who thrives with demanding customers, complex technical inquiries, and competitive scenarios where legacy solutions are increasingly inadequate. You will operate at the intersection of product capabilities, sales objectives, and customer constraints. Your deliverables must be rigorous enough to drive prospect progression, enable Professional Services to scope accurately, and advance the business toward closed deals. If you have accumulated experience in presales, solution architecture, or telecom modernization and seek to represent a platform that genuinely outperforms legacy incumbents, this role warrants your consideration. What You Will Be DoingDelivering customer demonstrations that showcase the interface and functional scope of Totogi's product portfolio.Engaging customer subject matter experts to surface pain points, technical constraints, and validation criteria.Constructing solution scopes for the Professional Services organization, aligning customer needs with Totogi's product capabilities.Authoring RFP responses that clearly demonstrate how Totogi's offerings satisfy technical and commercial requirements within structured procurement frameworks. What You Won’t Be DoingCarrying sales quotas or closing customer contracts.Producing generic, template‑driven solution scopes that ignore customer‑specific contexts.Conducting sales enablement sessions or handling administrative responsibilities.Solutions Architect Key ResponsibilitiesAchieving technical wins that progress sales opportunities across Totogi's three product lines (Telco Ontology, AI‑Native Charging, Wholesale BSS Platform).Basic RequirementsA minimum of 5 years in presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering roles within the telco BSS/OSS sector.Demonstrated experience guiding technical sales processes for charging, billing, or BSS solutions.Proven ability to deliver effective product demonstrations and present to senior technical and executive audiences.Hands‑on experience writing code that integrates with APIs (GraphQL, REST).About TotogiTotogi is focused on building telco software for the public cloud and is completely redefining how carriers engage with their subscribers to drive customer love! We are a product‑driven telco software company made up of some of the best minds from the telecoms industry and the brightest engineering talent across the globe.
