DescriptionJob SummaryThe primary purpose of the job is to develop and grow the Liquid and Combustion (L&C) product line business within the Analytical & Detection (A&D) Portfolio of Measurement Solutions (MSOL) of Emerson. This position is intended to drive technology adoption/acceptance of this business in Middle East and Africa by taking ownership of the product group!In this role your responsibilities will be:Product ManagementLead product management business development sales support and project pursuit for MEA to achieve A&D financial targetsEnhance MSOL and A&D customer satisfaction by understanding and delivering tailored solutionsDrive product and factory approvals within Key AccountsStay updated on product industry and market trends; maintain sales tools and lead A&D marketing activitiesPrepare and present marketing forecasts pricing surveys competitor insights and country marketing plans in coordination with Regional ManagersStrengthen product application and industry knowledge across sales back-office and execution teams for A&D offeringsBusiness DevelopmentOwn and implement relevant A&D Strategic Plan InitiativesLead and support high-quality lead generation and sales campaignsHelp regions engage customers Emerson teams and LBPs to prioritize efforts gather intelligence and enhance service in line with sales strategies and Key Account PlansCollaborate with MSOL A&Ds and Emerson Platforms to improve pull-through content and identify growth areasPromote small-scale analytical systems by partnering with third-party integratorsSalesProvide order and unit forecasts to support financial and manufacturing planningAssist Regional and Digital Sales teams and partners across MEA as neededSupport high-quality proposal generation to meet service and win-rate expectationsContribute to project sales strategies maintain a pursuit list and submit regular reports and forecastsMentor sales teams on product industry and application knowledge and customer engagementBuild and enhance A&D/MSOL customer relationships; develop new relationships with key decision-makers and influencers (e.g. regulators consultants)Provide technical support during pre-sales clarifications and re-engineering to align with client/project needsEnsure compliance with Emersons local and global trade procedures across all transactionsWho are youTo own the Analytical & Detection Products Business of Emerson in Middle East and AfricaDrive collaboration and engagement should develop management by influencing skillsYou see technology and innovation as key in pursuing with worlds most significant challengesYou are continuously looking forward to developing and improving your professional skillsFor this job you will need:An Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceA strong internal drive and passion for growing an analytical businessMinimum of 10 years experience in the process automation industry specifically in: Liquid and gas analytical and detection products Engaging with end users influencers OEMs System Integrators and EPCsTravel up to 50% of the time within MEA occasionally outside of MEAPreferred Qualifications that set you apartSolid understanding of the market landscape and key players including their portfolios strengths and weaknessesProven track record of business growth across the regionDemonstrated success in collaborating efficiently with both internal collaborators and external partnersOur Culture & Commitment to You!At Emerson we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued respected and empowered to grow.
