The Solution Architect role helps align key customer decisionmakers with the solutions and workflows that Quorum software supports.Solution Architects have strong technical skills good communication and interpersonal skills knowledge of the oil & gas industry with a specific focus/interest in planning economics and reserves and have an aptitude for solving problems.ResponsibilitiesHelp to identify sales opportunities in customers and prospectsHelp to define and articulate the value proposition for the clientCreate product/solution presentations that reinforce the value proposition within the prospective accountProvide software demonstrationsProvide consistent highquality software demonstrations to clients as needed byBe proficient in solutions and identify key benefits for target audiencePrepare valuefocused demonstrations based on discovery done with the client in advanceWork with the account managers to develop approaches to increase our footprint at a ClientParticipate in Account Planning and Opportunity PlanningProvide technical responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) as required by the account managersUnderstand and Architect client workflowsUnderstand client usage and workflow characteristic for specified accountsWork with clients to become a trusted advisor on their unique business processesDesign workflows built on Quorums offering customized to each customers specific business issueHelp manage client interactions and stay connected with the technical leaders in our clients and prospectsParticipate in client meetings providing technical and domain expertiseEngage with industryParticipate in tradeshows webinars user conferences training and sales seminarsEngage with Quorum gotomarket resources (presales and business development activities)with Product Management Marketing Customers Sales Reps Services BD Reps Engineering Support Partners/SIs etcCreate original content and messaging throughout the sales and marketing processes (Webinars Videos etc)Best PracticesWork on developing corporate standards for optimal workflows based on our software suitePerform the discovery work to design the optimal positioning of products within a potential client or expanding into an existing clientWorking with Product Management and Professional Services Management to ensure clients expectations and plans are aligned with operations for deliveryFeedback to Product Management all relevant product and market insights gathered whilst interacting with customers and prospectsMaintain industry market and product knowledge as well as maintain awareness and general understanding of competitors products technology and offerings. Further maintain knowledge of applicable technology evolution and impact.And other duties as assigned.RequirementsPostsecondary education (bachelors degree or equivalent) in a technical or businessrelated disciplineStrong technical aptitude and understanding of technologyGeneral knowledge of software architecture and design (databases development languages cloud/onpremise APIs)Familiarity with QuorumPlanning Economics and Reserves (PE&R) Solutionsand willingness to learnExperience with Business Intelligence toolsProficient in Microsoft Office suite or equivalent: Excel Word PowerPoint VisioExperience working with implementation with large NOCsSelfMotivated & Results OrientedAppetite for Innovation & Problem SolvingExcellent technical skills quickly learning software and using it to solve problemsExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal skills and confidence to conduct discussions wit
