Union Coop is seeking a dynamic, creative, and strategic Social Media Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital communication, content creation, and community engagement. The Social Media Specialist will play a key role in shaping Union Coop’s online presence, increasing our digital reach, and building meaningful relationships with our audience across all major social platforms.As a representative of Union Coop’s values and voice, you’ll be responsible for developing content strategies, executing daily posts, and interacting directly with our online community. This role combines creativity with analytics, requiring a strong understanding of digital trends, audience behavior, and brand alignment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement integrated social media plans tailored to each platform to grow Union Coop’s digital presence, boost engagement, and increase followers organically.Content Calendar ManagementCollaborate with internal departments to align social media activities with the marketing calendar and promotional campaigns, ensuring accurate messaging and on-time delivery.Daily Content Creation & PostingPlan, write, and publish daily posts across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram. Ensure content is engaging, informative, and visually aligned with the brand.Content Development & CurationProduce high-quality, platform-specific content (written, image, and video) and coordinate with designers, photographers, and videographers to develop creative assets.Track brand mentions, trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity across digital channels. Provide regular reports on sentiment, audience growth, and campaign performance.Community ManagementActively engage with our followers by responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions in a professional and timely manner. Ask questions, initiate conversations, and create two-way communication with the audience.Influencer EngagementIdentify, approach, and manage collaborations with influencers and brand advocates who align with our target audience and values to boost credibility and reach.Interactive Campaigns & Engagement TacticsPlan and manage interactive activities like polls, giveaways, live Q&A sessions, and contests to increase user participation and brand awareness.Agency CoordinationWork closely with the assigned social media agency to align on schedules, provide timely content, coordinate designs, and review analytics.Analytics & ReportingMeasure performance of content and campaigns using social media analytics tools.
