OverviewSnr System Engineer (Dev) Power Platform Doha, Qatar msel2025-06-01hire a Senior System Engineer (Development) – Power Platform Solution Developer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant oil and gas industry experience in a similar role. Fluency in English is a must.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy custom business applications using power apps, catering to diverse departmental needs and user requirementsBuild automated workflows with power automation to improve process efficiency and eliminate manual tasksCreate clear and concise reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable insights and data visualizationUtilize Dataverse & other databases to store and manage application data securelyCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand pain points, and define solution success metricsWrite clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to best practices and security standardsDocument solutions thoroughly, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materialsProvide ongoing support and training to users on developed solutionsStay up to date with the latest power platform features and functionalitiesProactively identify opportunities to leverage the power platform for further process improvement and innovationAnalyze business needs and user profiles to recommend the most cost-effective license configuration for each solutionAdvise stakeholders on potential licensing issues and strategies for optimizing license utilizationCollaborate with its teams to manage licenses effectively and track usage patternsDesign captivating and user-centric interfaces for power apps, ensuring intuitive navigation, accessibility, and optimal user experience across devicesConduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate and refine the design for optimal usabilityQualificationsMinimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systemsMicrosoft Power platform certifications are a plusMinimum 8 years of experience including min 3 years of experience developing solutions using the Microsoft Power platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, database)Experience in designing and building user-friendly and intuitive applicationsStrong understanding of data modelling and business process automation conceptsExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skillsEffective communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPassion for learning and staying current with emerging technologiesExperience with other Microsoft technologies like Azure, SharePoint, and Office 365 is a plusExperience optimizing license utilization and recommending cost-effective solutionsPossess a deep understanding of the power platform licensing models (power apps per user/per app, power automate flows, Power BI pro, database storage) and their cost implicationsExperience in database design in addition to writing efficient queries#J-18808-Ljbffr
