Established in 1982, The Digital Imaging & Office Services Solutions of Gulf Commercial Group was created to become a leading office automation solutions provider for the thriving UAE market.By embracing the printing industry’s phenomenal digital transformation over the years, GCG‑DDS developed a natural proclivity for new technologies and gained an enviable reputation for its expertise in integrating digital enterprise solutions of all kinds into their client’s businesses.Keen to take a market leadership position, GCG‑DDS has made the strategic decision to expand its horizons into two focused areas of operation with each carrying a new corporate identity under the umbrella of GCG’s holding company – The Ghobash Group.Now known as GCG ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS, the company focuses on Enterprise Information Management, Digital Transformation, and Interactive Smart Solutions, and guides our clients with the most comprehensive portfolio of business information management technology in the UAE.Job DescriptionThe Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of office imaging products at the customer site.Provide supervisory and technical support to customers regarding technical problems and ensure optimal customer satisfaction.Attend the service calls within committed response time.Ensure that follow‑up work requirements are referred back to the appropriate IT administrators, machine in‑charge & operators to enable necessary action and recommendations to customers.Maintain good rapport with the IT administrators, machine in‑charge & operators.Write technical reports, recording any customer complaints and forwarding to the responsible department.Keep the machines up‑to‑date and provide training to customers when required during installation of new equipment. Upgrade in time the firmwares and modification kits as and when advised by the manufacturer.Ordering of spare parts when required and follow up on the pending calls for spares.Focus on making a reasonable estimation on non‑contractual machines; and strive for cost savings on contractual machines.Seek opportunities for consumable sales and contract conversions and provide the leads to the service manager.Advise the customer on trade‑in of their old equipment with a new one and submit the equipment sale needs to the service manager.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in IT or Equivalent#J-18808-Ljbffr
