Server - Outside Catering

We are seeking an experienced and professional Server to join our upscale dining establishment in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Lead Server you will be responsible for overseeing the dining room operations ensuring exceptional customer service and leading a team of servers to deliver an outstanding dining experience.Supervise and coordinate the activities of the serving team during each shiftEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanlinessTrain and mentor new servers providing guidance on service techniques and restaurant policiesResolve customer complaints and address any issues that arise during serviceCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and deliveryManage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize dining room capacityConduct pre-shift meetings to brief staff on daily specials events and any changes in proceduresAssist in inventory management and placing orders for supplies as neededMaintain a thorough knowledge of menu items specials and wine pairings to make informed recommendations to guestsEnsure adherence to UAE hospitality standards and cultural norms in guest interactionsQualifications3-5 years of experience in high-end restaurant or hospitality settingsPrevious leadership or supervisory experience in food serviceExcellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiencesStrong leadership abilities and experience in team managementEffective communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plusProven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilitiesProficiency in POS systems and restaurant management softwareHigh school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)Current Food Safety Certification and Alcohol Service CertificationIn-depth knowledge of fine dining etiquette and service standardsFamiliarity with diverse cuisines and wine pairingsUnderstanding of UAE hospitality industry standards and cultural sensitivityAbility to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidaysPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
