Senior Transport Planner crowd modelling

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Planner specializing in crowd modeling to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for complex transportation challenges with a focus on crowd management and pedestrian flow in urban environments.Lead and execute crowd modeling projects for large-scale transportation and urban development initiativesAnalyze and interpret data to forecast pedestrian movement patterns and optimize transportation systemsDevelop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate crowd modeling insights into broader transportation planning strategiesStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in transport planning and crowd modelingMentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the departmentEnsure compliance with local and international transportation standards and regulationsParticipate in client meetings and proposal development to secure new projectsQualificationsMasters degree in Transportation Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience in transport planning with a strong focus on crowd modelingAdvanced knowledge of crowd modeling software and transportation planning toolsProven track record in managing and delivering large-scale transportation projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent project management abilities and experience leading cross‑functional teamsEffective communication and presentation skills both written and verbalIn‑depth understanding of crowd dynamics and pedestrian flow principlesKnowledge of local and international transportation standards and regulationsFamiliarity with sustainable transportation practices and their implementationProfessional certification in transport planning (e.g. PTOE PTP) preferredExperience working in the Middle East region is advantageousAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
