Senior Specialist - Tax

In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in tax legislation and compliance to provide strategic advice that supports our business objectives and ensures effective tax management.ResponsibilitiesOversee the preparation and timely filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulationsAdvise various departments on tax implications related to business transactions and business planningConduct thorough analysis of tax liabilities and develop strategies to optimize overall tax efficiencyMonitor changes in tax legislation and prepare reports detailing their implications for the organizationCollaborate with auditors and external consultants during tax audits and ensure accurate and efficient interaction with tax authoritiesProvide support in the development of tax policies and procedures to enhance compliance and manage risksTrain and mentor junior tax staff on tax processes and proceduresQualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field (Masters degree or relevant certification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA is advantageous)At least 5 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory roles, with a strong emphasis on international tax issuesDeep understanding of current tax laws, regulations, and practicesExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax codesProficient in tax compliance software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectivelyExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey tax concepts to non-tax professionalsPrior experience in a large corporate environment or consultancy is preferredBenefitsComprehensive benefits package#J-18808-Ljbffr
