Guided by values of trust, commitment, and dependability, the company is dedicated to ensuring complete customer satisfaction.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee cost management, prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), manage cost planning, and produce detailed cost reporting for interior fit-out, joinery, and furniture manufacturing projects. The role also involves ensuring projects are completed on budget, conducting value engineering, and liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams to achieve financial efficiency and accuracy.Prepare, evaluate, and submit progressive payment applications/invoices, ensuring accurate measurement of completed works, proper documentation, and timely certification and follow-up.Manage overall cost control, budgeting, and cost planning to ensure projects are delivered within approved financial limits.Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs), including quantity take-offs and verification against drawings and specifications.Monitor project costs and produce regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost value reconciliation (CVR).Evaluate, negotiate, and manage variations/change orders and claims in line with contract requirements.Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and commercial procedures.Lead subcontractor procurement, tender evaluation, and commercial management.Conduct value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality or project requirements.Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, and project teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.Prepare and finalize project accounts, ensuring all costs and claims are properly settled.Identify financial risks and implement cost control measures.Mentor junior QS staff and ensure adherence to best practices and company standards.QualificationsProficiency in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning to efficiently optimize project budgets and resources.Demonstrated expertise in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) with precision and accuracy.Strong skills in Cost Reporting, including preparing detailed financial summaries and progress reports for stakeholders.Experience with value engineering and ability to work collaboratively with designers and contractors to enhance cost efficiency.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients and project teams effectively.Proficiency in relevant software tools and familiarity with construction and fit-out practices is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.#J-18808-Ljbffr
