The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring quality control and quality assurance on construction projects as well as a thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.QualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles in the construction industry with a focus on civil and infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of quality control principles, practices and proceduresFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 9001 and ASTMExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholdersDetail-oriented and able to identify and resolve quality issuesProven leadership and supervisory skillsExperience with quality control software and tools is a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures for construction projectsMonitor and assess the quality of materials, workmanship and processes on siteConduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standardsIdentify and report any quality issues or non-conformities and work with project teams to resolve themReview and approve quality control documents including inspection reports, test results and quality plansCoordinate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are metProvide guidance and training to project teams on quality control processes and proceduresParticipate in project meetings and communicate quality-related updates and issues to stakeholdersKeep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations and ensure compliance on all projectsLead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issuesDevelop and maintain quality control records and documentation for each projectMentor and supervise junior QA/QC staff as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
