Senior Project Manager, Elevators and Escalators

The role manages all key stakeholder interfacesboth internal and externalthroughout the project lifecycle with a strong emphasis on proactive collaboration and customer engagement.The Senior Project Manager plans directs and coordinates project activities to ensure objectives are achieved within the agreed timeline and financial parameters utilizing approved KONE methodologies governance frameworks and tools. The primary focus of the role is to drive high levels of customer satisfaction while safeguarding KONEs profitability.Key Responsibilities:Accountable for project scope schedule and budget delivering the project within the defined contractual requirements and KONE objectivesEnsure KONE business success and customer satisfaction with professional stakeholder managementAccountable for proactively managing customer communication throughout the project.Ensure integrated project planning with customers and KONE full-chain teamsManaging project deliverables in line with the project planEnsure continuous full-chain project monitoring and controlResponsible for successful project start-up project reviews project reporting and facilitating project governanceEnsure that project status and progress are effectively communicated to KONE management and the customerResponsible for operational and financial project risk identification mitigation contingency planning and potential recovery actionsAccountable for the projects financial planning and forecasting cash flow management and revenue managementResponsible for actively driving Sales-to-Operations handover quality accountable for handovers to Customers and Maintenance as well as project closing activitiesMaintain master action log and lessons learned document. Ensures sufficient project resourcing and competenciesManages and leads the full-chain project teamCreates and maintains safety and security awareness among project employees and subcontractors. Ensures the following KONE and Customer safety and security policies.Are you the oneBachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Business Administration or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management preferably within the elevator industry.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent English & Arabic communication skills and interpersonal skills.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion.Understanding of the financial aspects of managing projects and product initiativesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.At KONE we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
