Your work will ensure carrier-class resiliency, performance, and capacity for high-demand services.Detailed Job DescriptionYou will architect and support core/edge networks with BGP, IS‑IS/OSPF, and MPLS (L2/L3VPN), driving reliability and traffic engineering. Expect hands‑on with platforms such as Cisco IOS‑XR/ASR and/or Juniper MX, implementing QoS, route policies, and high availability. You’ll lead change, troubleshoot complex incidents, and collaborate on capacity planning, peering, and security hardening. The environment values automation, telemetry, and rigorous documentation to keep the backbone predictable and observable.✅ Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and optimize IP/MPLS networks for SP and large enterprise useEngineer L2/L3VPN services, routing policies, and TE for scale and stabilityPerform advanced troubleshooting across edge, core, and peering layersPlan capacity, conduct upgrades, and manage software lifecyclesBuild runbooks, MOPs, and test plans; lead change windows and RCAsImplement QoS, DDoS mitigation controls, and security best practicesRequired Qualifications & Skills6+ years in Routing & Switching; 3+ years in Service Provider networksDeep knowledge of BGP, IS‑IS/OSPF, MPLS (LDP/RSVP), and VRFsHands‑on with Cisco IOS‑XR/ASR and/or Juniper MX (or equivalent SP platforms)Strong QoS, multicast fundamentals, and peering/transit principlesScripting/automation familiarity and excellent documentation skills✨ Nice‑to‑Have SkillsCCNP/CCIE Service Provider or JNCIP/JNCIESegment Routing (SR‑MPLS/SRv6) and RSVP‑TE/TE automationExperience with NETCONF/YANG, Ansible, PythonTelemetry/observability (gNMI/Telegraf/Prometheus)CGNAT, DNS, and IPv6 deployment experienceRecruitment Pro TipInclude a brief peering/capacity case study: growth challenge, your routing/TE strategy, and the measurable outcome (e.g., latency reduction, % packet loss improvement).
