Senior Manager Operational Sourcing - UAE National

<div><p>We are seeking a talented and experienced<b>Senior Manager Operational Sourcing.</b>In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of all operational procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support continuous business operations. The Senior Manager leads a robust team of professionals, including a Manager, Senior Officers, and Officers, to maintain high standards of procurement excellence and supply chain resilience.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Define and implement the operational sourcing roadmap aligned with the overall Supply Chain Division strategy.</li><li>Oversee the end-to-end operational procurement process, from requisition to purchase order issuance.</li><li>Ensure that all sourcing activities comply with the company’s procurement policies, delegated authorities, and local regulations.</li><li>Manage a diverse team consisting of a Manager, Senior Officers, and Officers (approx. 10 staff members).</li><li>Foster a culture of performance and continuous improvement through regular coaching and professional development.</li><li>Optimize workload distribution across the team to ensure rapid response times for operational requirements.</li><li>Lead high-stakes negotiations for operational requirements that fall outside the scope of long-term framework agreements.</li><li>Collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing team to transition category strategies into operational execution.</li><li>Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the procurement data within the ERP system.</li><li>Act as a key point of contact for internal business units to ensure their operational needs are met without disruption.</li><li>Monitor vendor performance in collaboration with the Supply Chain Performance&Reporting team to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.</li><li>Resolve complex supplier disputes and escalations related to operational delivery.</li><li>Identify opportunities to automate and streamline routine sourcing tasks to increase efficiency.</li><li>Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Lead Time, Cost Savings (Operational), and PO Accuracy to the VP of Supply Chain.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is highly desirable.</li><li>12+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.</li><li>Experience in large-scale utilities, energy, or industrial sectors is preferred.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in (SAP) a deep understanding of "Procure-to-Pay" (P2P) cycles, and expert-level negotiation skills.</li></ul><p>At EtihadWE, we’re shaping the future of the utilities sector while fostering an inclusive and innovative work environment.
