The team engages across multiple functions within the Visa organization to bring the very best of Visa’s expertise and assets to our clients - earning well-qualified wins to drive revenue growth while building trust and growing engagement and satisfaction among teammates, partners, and clients.We are looking for a sales and business development expert in a B2B environment with a relevant experience.You will be responsible for managing the assigned client relationships, developing new businesses and program implementations. You will also be responsible for supporting growth of travel merchants for Visa. This role requires leadership, vision, and creativity to develop the overall strategy, drive the expansion of Visa products and solutions, and lead the overall commercialization of Visa’s business development objectives. In turn deliver the best of Visa solutions to our clients and help them meeting their business objectives.This role will be part of the merchant organization in Visa which sits under the broader Merchant, Global Client, Tech partners and Acquiring team. This role will collaborate with teams from functions across Visa such as solutions, consulting & analytics, finance, merchant sales, issuer relationship, customer support, and marketing. Externally, this role will collaborate with key client executives.Responsibilities:Develop and execute customized account strategy, objectives and plans to increase revenue and market share for select strategic partner accountsExecutive‑level pitches and workshops, RFP responses and negotiation strategy and Business casing and monetization modelsLead selected strategic regional or global travel merchant engagements directly.Lead the account and relationship management and sales plan for these accounts, ensuring that the client’s business objectives are metSupport the development, negotiation and signing of proposals by working with various internal stakeholders and relationships with strategic partner executivesOwn and manage portfolio of Merchant Partnerships within the travel vertical. Identify new and ongoing requirements, introduce new products or services, and grow the business.Conduct financial and business analysis of strategic opportunities for Visa capabilities that increases revenue for both parties through a deep understanding of the partners business and evolving industry context, including payment strategy and solutionsServe as internal and external thought leader responsible for communicating Visa's and merchant partnership vision, strategy and perspective within a rapidly evolving industryPartner with peers in other functional areas - e.g., marketing, analytics, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa's resourcesContinuously review CEMEA landscape, identifying and developing partnerships, venture or acquisition opportunities that will position Visa as the marketThis is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.QualificationsRelevant Bachelors degree, MBA preferred. 10+ years experienceProven ability in B2B sales, negotiating business agreements and driving commercial results in travel industryExtensive experience in payment products - credit cards, pre‑paid, etcPortfolio P&L expertise, with analytics orientation. Demonstrated experience in building and leveraging strong relationships at multiple levels including C level executives of the clientsAbility to work independently and in collaboration within a complex, cross functional and matrix environmentExcellent written and oral communication and presentation skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointAdditional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
