Senior HSE Officer

OverviewChina State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC ME) is recruiting Senior HSE Officer to join our HSE team in a newly awarded High Rise Tower Project in Dubai, UAE.ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly and yearly HSE management plan, supervise the implementation of the HSE plan and take corrective actions. Lead other HSE officers and assist in daily & weekly site inspections as per the HSE plan; prepare monthly KPI for HSE staff and provide proposals for year-end appraisals to all HSE staff to PM & PD.Lead, organize and participate in training and induction for all staff and visitors on topics related to HSE management. Prepare PPT for HSE weekly and monthly meetings, organize the meetings with presentations, and lead in keeping proper documentation for records of these activities.Lead in preparing Risk Assessments for all Method Statements on site with support from Project Engineers and Technical Manager; brief construction team and subcontractors, monitor the implementation of MS on site, and lead in keeping proper documentation for records of these activities.Lead in supervising HSE observation reports from all staff for any unsafe act/unsafe condition; supervise issuing of warnings and penalties to the concerned person/team properly, ensure the discipline actions and procedures are closed-looped, and lead in keeping proper documentation for all these activities.Prepare HSE incident investigations and near-miss reports, prepare KPI and HSE dashboard for review by Project Manager and PD, and follow up on other tasks assigned by HQ HSE department.RequirementsDegree qualified in Health and Safety or Engineering10+ years of experience in buildings projectsPMP Certificate; IOSH and other HSE management certificates preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
