This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless performance, safety, and compliance of systems such as lighting, and SCADA across major tunnel and underground infrastructure projects.The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise, strong multidisciplinary coordination experience, and the ability to lead technical teams through complex design and implementation phases.Systems Design & Engineering LeadershipLead the design, development, and integration of tunnel systems including:Tunnel lighting and emergency lightingSCADA and control systemsEnsure all systems meet project specifications, safety standards, and authority requirements.Drive system interface management between MEP, civil, structural, and operational teams.Technical Management & CoordinationCoordinate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and specialist vendors.Review and approve design calculations, drawings, equipment selection, and system architecture.Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, and safety-in-design workshops.Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure designs comply with international codes (NFPA, IEC, BS/EN), local authority regulations, and project specifications.Oversee technical submissions, method statements, and system integration plans.Conduct design reviews, value engineering, and technical audits during all stages.Project Delivery & Interface ControlSupport procurement by preparing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals.Oversee FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning, and handover of tunnel systems.Manage interfaces with ITS, electrical networks, emergency systems, and operational stakeholders.Client & Stakeholder EngagementAct as the primary technical contact for tunnel systems with the client and authorities.Present design solutions, technical justifications, and progress reports.Support obtaining necessary NOCs, approvals, and certifications.Bachelor’s degree inElectrical, or Systems Engineering (Master’s preferred).10+ years of experience in tunnel systems design, integration, and project delivery.Strong expertise in ventilation modeling, emergency scenarios, FLS requirements, and SCADA architecture.Prior experience on metro, highway tunnel, or large‑scale underground infrastructure projects.Familiarity with NFPA, BS, EN, IEC, and local authority safety codes.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
