You can find more about us on Food packaging supplies and materials | HuhtamakiWe are looking for a high caliber financial controller to join us to play a critical role within the finance function.Reporting LineReports to: Finance ManagerLocationDubai, functional oversight of Switzerland & branch operations in Dubai & FinlandRole TypeFull-time, permanentRole PurposeThe Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and operational excellence across Huhtamaki AG and its branches. This role combines hands‑on financial control with strategic business partnering. Supporting management decisions, ensuring IFRS and local GAAP compliance, and maintaining strong internal controls and governance across entities.Key ResponsibilitiesStatutory, Tax, and AuditOversee statutory filing for 2 Swiss entities / 1 Luxembourg entity and 2 branches (Dubai and Finland), based on local GAAP, and maintain an IFRS‑to‑GAAP bridge to ensure consistency between statutory and Group reporting.Handle Swiss & UAE tax filing, Pillar 2 compliance, and profit allocation between Switzerland, Dubai, and Finland in coordination with Group Tax and KPMG.Manage external audit and ensure timely completion and compliance.Financial Reporting & Month‑EndLead the month‑end closing in Oracle Fusion — running costing, ensuring entries are booked correctly under the right business line, managing accruals, confirming inventory balances, and supporting the team in closing different tasks when needed.Run monthly checks to ensure the financials are compliant with local statutory, IFRS and Group standards.Handle monthly reporting into Onestream — input data, fill forms, post management entries, ensure units are closed properly, respond to segment and group reporting requirements, and support other units in allocation clarifications.Prepare and deliver monthly and weekly financial reports, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and actionable insights for management and stakeholders.Financial Planning & AnalysisLead forecasting and budgeting, aligning with segment/management.Update and prepare the monthly review deck, consolidating key financials, variances, and commentary for management and segment review.Business Partnering & Strategic Support — serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and Heads of Departments, providing insights to drive performance, efficiency, and growth.Perform End to End profitability analysis for the business which might have multiple transaction layers (Limited Risk Contract Manufacturing, Principal Company, Limited Risk Distribution, Customer)Compliance & ControlsMonitor and adjust transfer pricing in line with OECD rules and internal TP policies.Lead the setup and maintenance of internal controls in line with IFRS and Group standards to ensure compliance, accuracy, and audit readiness.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent) is preferredMinimum 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a multinational manufacturing or FMCG environment.Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local statutory regulations.Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion and OneStream (or similar ERP/consolidation systems); proficient in Excel, Power BI a plus.Experience managing external audits, tax compliance, and transfer pricing under OECD principles.Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills.High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to partner cross‑functionally across geographies and business units.Strong sense of ownership, integrity, and confidentiali
