Senior Engineer Mechanical

We are seeking a talented and innovative Senior Engineer - Mechanical Design to join our dynamic team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our MEP department you will lead the design development and improvement of mechanical systems and products that meet our clients needs and industry standards.Responsibilities:Lead the mechanical design process ensuring technical excellence and innovative solutions across multiple projectsProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and techniciansReview and approve engineering calculations drawings and reports for quality assurance and complianceOversee the integration of mechanical designs with architectural and structural elements for seamless project executionDevelop and implement project strategies aligning with client objectives and sustainability goalsLead technical discussions with clients contractors and stakeholders to address complex design challengesParticipate in the preparation of project proposals including technical write-ups and resource estimatesEnsure all designs meet safety environmental and legal standards staying updated on evolving industry codesAct as the primary point of contact for mechanical design engineering on large or complex projectsFoster innovation by exploring new technologies materials and methods to enhance design efficiency and sustainabilityMonitor project budgets timelines and deliverables and manage risks effectivelyDrive advanced BIM modeling solutions including computational engineering for sizing systems in the Revit environmentLead digital delivery through system optimization advanced simulation strategies and multidisciplinary coordinationDevelop digital skills through adoption of programming languages to enhance design automation data analysis and system integrationQualifications:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferredMinimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical design engineering with experience with Rail/ Metro/ Airport Airconditioning and Ventilation system design and design review experienceProficiency in REVIT AutoCAD or BIM toolsCapable of HAP/ IES heat load calculation and energy simulation CAD Revit Navisworks revizto softwareAdditional Information:AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
