Role OverviewIn this role, you will lead and deliver cybersecurity projects across multiple sectors, including both private and public organizations. You will play a critical role in understanding client needs, managing project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of tailored cybersecurity solutions. This position requires a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, exceptional project management capabilities, and proven stakeholder management skills. You will also contribute to the growth of the cybersecurity practice by mentoring junior consultants, collaborating with global teams, and maintaining a high standard of client satisfaction.Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesAssess and understand client cybersecurity needs and pain points, identifying areas for improvement and tailored solutions.Prepare high-quality proposals and collaborate with other member firms to deliver cybersecurity engagements across various domains.Oversee project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction, applying effective project management practices throughout the engagement lifecycle.Set clear metrics and reporting mechanisms aligned with client engagement requirements, maintaining a high Net Promoter Score (NPS).Ensure project documentation, deliverables, and quality standards comply with KPMG’s engagement delivery practices.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders and ensuring expectations are consistently met.Maintain continuous professional development within cybersecurity and stay informed about regulatory updates and emerging threats in Qatar.Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.Contribute to practice development initiatives and collaborate with global member firms to share knowledge, methodologies, and insights.Qualifications & Experience6–9 years of relevant cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in consulting within the GCC (Qatar experience preferred).Solid understanding of foundational cybersecurity concepts, frameworks, and practices across both public and private sectors.Demonstrated experience in project management—covering planning, execution, and successful delivery of cybersecurity engagements.Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, negotiate, and build trust with senior client representatives.Holding at least two certifications, including one cybersecurity and one project management certification (e.g., ISO 27001, CISSP, PMP, or equivalent).Knowledge of Qatar’s business environment, cybersecurity regulations, and national frameworks is highly advantageous.Proven ability to develop consulting proposals and deliver impactful, client-focused cybersecurity solutions.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with Arabic language proficiency required.Preferred SkillsProgram management experience overseeing multiple streams or projects simultaneously.Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively across functions.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Interest in developing specialization within a specific cybersecurity domain.
